Yesterday typhoon Dianmu hit Kochi prefecture and passed through Tokushima prefecture. It passed just over the place where I live. The wind was so hard that the water in the rice fields was blown up in the air. It is very rare that typhoon hit Japan in June. A little abnormal, I think.

I found the news about typhoon Dianmu. Please read it if you are interested in.

Now typhoon Dianmu(no.6) is drawing near to Japan. According to weather forecast it will come to Japan on tomorrow morning, but now no rain is falling and the wind is not so strong.

As I wrote, it is rainy season now not typhoon season in Japan. This typhoon is out of season. It is in late August or in September that many strong Typhoons will come to Japan. And it is said this one will weaken as drawing near.

This is the article about typhoon Dianmu.

Do you know June is the rainy season in Japan?

Weather Broadcast says that Rainy Season begins today. In Japan this season is called "Baiu" or "Tuyu" which literally means "The Rain of Umeļ¼ˆJapanese apricot)" because it rains when the ume ripens.

I don't like this season because of its damp and humidness and I often get out of shape. I wish I could keep in good shape this year.
